Our Operations

The oral surgery section, consisting of 40 employees, includes not only oral surgery but also jaw and facial radiology, orthodontics, and orofacial medicine, as well as its own sterilization and operating department and CBCT imaging. The section conducts research with high activity in collaboration with Uppsala University and several international partners in academia and industry.

Our operations are quality certified according to SS-EN 15224 and ISO 9001. Within the field of plastic surgery and oral surgery, a large part of the hospital's highly specialized national and regional care is provided, as well as two national healthcare assignments from the county council, all in close collaboration between different specialties.

Your Mission

As a dental nurse within orthodontics, you will be responsible for assisting in treatments and investigations. Intraoral radiography, panoramic radiography, and patient administrative work are also included in the job responsibilities.

Your Qualifications

You are a trained Orthodontic Assistant or Dental Nurse with an interest in Orthodontics. You have knowledge of the Swedish language equivalent to Swedish high school or Swedish C1 in both spoken and written form.

It is important that you are a positive, proactive, and engaged person with experience. You take responsibility for your tasks, take your own initiatives, and want to contribute with your full competence. We also place great importance on personal suitability, teamwork ability, and flexibility.
